Uses:
In oral solid preparations, it can be used as a film coating, binder, etc., significantly improving the stability and dissolution of drugs, and enhancing the water resistance of tablets.
It can be used as a suspending agent in suspensions, as a matrix material in ophthalmic preparations,
as a framework material in hydrophilic hydrogel matrix sustained-release tablets and intragastric floating tablets.
It can also replace gelatin and be used as the main raw material for plant-based capsules.
